History
In recent years, our country has made great progress in science and technology, and the economy has repeatedly created miracles, thus driving the economic function of high consumption. However, it also faces the problem of environmental damage and pollution. Therefore, the Ministry of Education, Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan and other relevant departments have begun to pay attention to environmental education, especially environmental education in schools.
In 1980, our school established an environmental education center in accordance with the university organization regulations to strengthen the research, experimentation and promotion of environmental education. We accept commissions or cooperation from public and private institutions at home and abroad to conduct research on environmental education. After its establishment, with the support of successive presidents, deans and administrative staff, we uphold the spirit of service and guidance, hoping to implement and promote environmental education in our school and in all middle and elementary schools in Taipei City.
